I've farmed 10's, but have found them unpredictable. 8's are much more stable. Standard rainbow with 2k trans in exchange for war's for a 10. A mix of 1kballs/1ktrans appears to yield medals/trinkets ..but they may come anyway as I've seen with taking them down.

8's are a better bang for the buck, imo. Even now a 10 can smack 15k arch from me on the cracking wave. It's usually the standard 5-6k plus the rainbow fodder.

I think I've got the 8 down to around 1500 arch. The mix of pike/swords, and their amounts appears inconsequential. I haven't run the time/build/train factor other than arch are too expensive to lose.

That is, I can always "make money" on an 8. Farming a 10 is more like a roulette wheel that mostly favors the player. I don't even bother with the scouting ..etc.

..but on that matter. Those who subscribe to the "scout 'til you get a low level hero" are leaving some taken for granted knowledge out of the statement.

I've run scouts through the feasting hall two or three evolutions. Each hit produces a different hero and have looked at over 50 sequential reports and never seen the same hero.

Each time I scout, a different hero is there for the actual attack. It could be higher, it could be lower.

Some will say that the server must have tripped between sending the attack and the attack landing, but this has occurred to me EVERY TIME, even if the NPC is one flat away. Too high odds for this to occur EVERY TIME.

I'd love to see what the missing secret squirrel handshake statement is, cuz "as stated" ..it's bogus.
