HA cause they waited to do that with age 1 XD
either way- they have so far said there is no future plans for an age 3
That will never happen... with ANY program.
If Microsoft refused to make the next version of windows, until all the bugs were out of the previous software... we would still be using Windows 1.01
I have a mac, but the PC I rarely use runs Windows 98se.
It may be outdated, but it is still the LEAST glitchy windows OS out there.

Agile development and bugs..those squishy bugs....
Most game developers use an agile methodology, and you will not have 100% of bugs polished when you release it, instead you release a version and then continue to do followup development on the live version. While it would be great to say you can release a game that has zero bugs or defects, in practice, this just cannot be done especially if you want players to actually play it at one point. Looking at just a few pieces of software out there like Facebook, Windows, you can see that the emphasis is to getting a great product out and then when live, polishing. That isn't to say we don't do extensive testing; we do. But to go for 100% is just something that cannot be done, sorry. I think Age I and Age II have really challenged players and give a great bit of entertainment in their lives that they can share with family and friends, and with that, I think players have shown that they like Evony. We'll continue to polish though, looking at player feedback and industry best practice as we continue towards our pursuit of player happiness. After all, you matter the most.
As for Evony: Age III.....
Understand Age II was released just a year after Age I and is a very different game even if at top level it has a feel of Age I: very different mechanics, server and client code, animations, etc. We have been and are working on some great new things though, so stay tuned and keep those eyes and ears open. Oh, and no, we won't be implimenting a 'fun' server as standard where you get thousands of cents daily and the speed is 10x, that was only to allow players to move through the game mechanics quickly to test and report bugs.
