I usually go for the lazy option
2k Work, 3k Warr, 3k scout, 90k arch & 2k transports

otherwise i use
1k worker, 1k warrior, 3996 scouts, 1 pike, 1 sword, 92karcher, 1 cav, 1 phract & 2k transports

Usaully lose all the layering, 60% of scouts and 4.5-5k archers.
