What's your favourite attack combo for farming 10s

Let me start by saying I've played for a while, and farming 60-75 NPC10s a day Ive found the following formula to work best .

*named Axions Magic Numbers*
91K Archers, 1K workers, 1k warriors, 2149 scouts, 1 pike, 1850 trans

I lose no more than 5125 archers and the fodder.. However, over 27% of the time I don't lose all the scouts either. The least amount of archer loss I've had using this combo is 3808.

I keep an Ivory Horn applied @ all times, and attack with Heroes as low at 185 attack.

Keep in mind you need proper Tech Levels in your academy to do NPC10 farming. So please anyone that does not have proper levels do not try this or you'll have larger losses. As well as attacking an NPC10 with a defending hero of lvl 1 is considered what I call a 'hicup' and should be avoided at all cost.

Furthermore, after you send this attack on the NPC10 you can immediately follow up with an attack of 25-30K archers, 10K warriors and your political hero to have them gain in the upwards of 400-600K exp. This will help those that want to upgrade their mayors a lot faster.

hmmm, 1 pike, I'll have to try that

I used to use 1800 carts but I'm lazy when it comes to typing (and math) so now it's:
92k archers, 2k work, war, scout and carts

I get between 4.1k and 5.8k archer loss, sometimes I have a few hundred workers and scouts survive as well
(attacking hero 180 atk minimum, obviously better results with my good heroes)
Less average losses when I have horn applied, but I only use a horn when I'm directly involved in a battle (if I have one)

I hate to be critical but if you would have sent some carts you would have got the plunder. I'm not planning to do the math but I doubt you paid for the losses.

I have used the lower numbers of archers as daddybyrd has. However, using half the amount of archers while farming NPC10s require stronger heroes, required tech levels and this formula

Using the 45K formula you need

to send 2078 transports instead of the 1850 if you have logistics at lvl 10. Since the archers load is 25. When you remove half of them you drop 1,137,500 of what you can carry back. To compensate for this add 228 additional transports to the farming run to clear out all resources from the NPC10.

So the combo would be : 45K Archers, 1K workers, 1k warriors, 2999K scouts (found to work better with this combo) , 1 pike, and 2078 trans.

Please note this attack is for heroes in the higher attack ranges near 400.

With farming NCP10s with the following combo known on server56 as "Axion's Magic Numbers" 91K archers, 1K worker, 1k warriors, 2149 scouts, 1 pike, 1850 transports you clean the NPC of all its resources. The lowest attack hero I send has been 165 attack with losses no more than 5200 archers and the fodder. Again around 26-27% of the time do not lose all the scouts.

I will go a step further and say with higher prestige levels and multiple cities I'm only gaining an average of 460 - 530 prestige per hit. However, I'm not farming NPC10s for prestige nor the food, but for hero experience.

If you like to increase your prestige to around 2K prestige per NPC10 hit, no matter what your prestige is. Then you'll need no more than 8 cities and use the following combo of

60K archers, 1K worker, 1k warriors, 1k scout, 1k pike, 1k sword, 500 cavs, 2K transports. with an attack hero of 300+. Using this combo will yield 2K+ prestige for each NPC10 you farm.

88000 arch 500 pike and sword 1500 work and war and 2k trans 3.1k - 5k usally hits around 4.4k on hero above 350 but gets the occasional blip
