    To all involved:

I deleted my earlier post in this thread, as there was a total lack of grace there. I've been having a really rough week, and I guess that was mostly me finding somewhere to vent my stress out on.

    My apologies.

Let me clarify what I wish to say:

Yes, Conrad is indeed a gifted individual, but his methods of reaching out to me as a person to back him up are...not to my taste, for lack of a better phrase.

In the OT elections, we at least had more than one person to choose from to lead us. Here, it's either yes or no to one man. If you at least give us a back door, I'll be that much more impressed with you, because by that action you'll show me (and others) that you have both the confidence and courage to face off and win against any other person on this Forum.

I admit that few can match your mental prowess. I even have difficulty breaching your defenses a lot of times, and that is what makes you such an exceptional person.

But back to Square One. I'm sorry for my complete lack of grace and respect in that post, and I will do my best to assure that something like that doesn't happen again. In the future, at least you'll see a somewhat more polished person...

The Illuminati has stepped in and have decided to put a stop to this for it has gone on long enough.

Conrad your troops are weak and ill-prepared, your tactics are ineffective and your policies are downright laughable.

We hold all the cards, we just finally decided to let you know it.

I am not an imperious ruler or a cruel tyrant! I am not a sovereign in the tradition of such vile figures as Agathocles of Syracuse, Dionysius the Elder of Syracuse, Alexander of Pherae or Phalaris of Agrigentum whose odious crimes resulted in their demise. Their mangled and blood stained bodies now roast in the fiery pit of the Inferno. Their bodies are being roasted in the river Phlegethon.

I am a benevolent despot in the tradition of the Roman emperors Trajan, Antoninus Pius and Marcus Aurelius. I have been inculcated with rational ideals and enlightened principles in which I will rule benevolently and moderately for the well-being of the people. I will rule equally distant from the abuses and hubris of royal powers as well as from the excesses and vulgarity of the people.

You model yourself after leaders of ancient societies and defunct nationalities, how do you really think you could ever hope to hold a line in the chaotic world that is today? Conrad you dream so far behind that you will not be able to dream ahead, your world of the past is just that, past and gone.

Tyrants are a thing of the past, this situation is just like Disco, you just cant bring it back my dear Conrad.

I didn't want to participate in this, but I must point out to my friend Nesterus that tyrants are definitely NOT a thing of the past, and are still alive and well in the 21st century.

this is sadly true. fortunately our community doesnt accept the presence of tyrants. the flamers and trolls keep us safe. the lovers and the haters keep the anarchy alive. we are what we wish to be never more, never less.
