for all of you players who keep complaining about the bigger players..stop joining super servers or older servers! they add new servers for a reason, go on those and have fun and stop with these rediculous posts about how unfair it is. And about inactives, there are over 20k pages of inactives on my server and all evony does is clear npc's..i feel your pain those of you on ss60

The map size is only increased when regular servers are merged together to create a super server (s148 vs. ss45).

When the SS servers are merged everyone gets hosed as there simply isn't enough room for all the in-actives that never get cleared, map doesn't increase, and tons of people will quit within the first couple weeks due to overcrowding, creating yet even more in-actives.

For those saying your server needs a merge, think about what you're asking for. Merges quite simply make the game worse, not better.

overcrowding? That would be a luxury providing they were active players. There would be no reson to quit as the possibilities of battle would have returned.

However, some people are intent on farming and do not want to risk being under attack. Prior to the merges, they would undoubtedly have had a period where they were in a comfort zone and perhaps believed this was the point of the game. These are the only types of people I can see quitting due to overcrowding (assuming the overcrowding of active players).

And even if not active players. You can still make an area your own. It just depends how much of a bully you are

Well, lets see if you still feel this way after your SS gets merged for the 3rd time, and no, it's not the actives that are the problem. War is indeed fun. But when they are so many in-actives no one has room to make npc's to feed any size army, wars become a stale mate in a hurry.

I don't care ow much of a bully you are, you can't make one city accounts move anywhere to make "your own area".

    .
I believe that is the part I was referring to. npcs do NOT need to be touching my cities for me to farm them. I will simply bully myself a bigger area if need be in the same situation.

having read the links here on killing servers and inactives i can under stand the pros and cons for server merges and the main issue seems to be the inactive accounts ,
thinking about this ive had a blonde moment ...is it possible to move the inactives to a server of there own ? say after a period of time a account is inactive couldnt it be moved to a holding server , as i understand that some have coins on the account that the player has paid for so u couldnt really wipe the account out due to this .or is this in the realms of impossiblity just a thought on making servers more active ..oh and if the player comes back ,account could be reinstated on the original server ..

ss59 has a major issue with dead accounts and i dont know if anyone else has this problem, but new players, whether it is flat fillers or literally new players, are replacing my lvl tens. and a new account DOES NOT give the same resources as a lvl ten
