Even alliance. I owe no alliegance to my alliance. I am "Lord Ocih" of my cities. My alliance defines who I work closest with. Britain and Canada have Alliances, they aren't one country or one power. Britain is friendly to France, neutral to Jordan, view Iran as hostile. It doesn't mean Iran and Britain will exchange missle fire tommorow, they are on hostile terms.

Evon is a PvP game is a blanket remark. There is more to it.
Really not much more. I didn't know they were self-proclaimed as an MMORPG. That term has become so loose and slung around.

Evony is a build your city up, war against others and take over. The diplomacy system is loose at best.

There are no things to do in times of peace except build yourself up for war.

Now if they introduced a crafting and a more robust trading system, I would change my answer. I mean, there's not even an option of transporting goods to people outside your alliance (like friendlies).

Until then, this is build & war game simpler then Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
