i've been thinking a lot lately about the things humanity allows itself to be be judged on these days. and mostly what it doesnt allow itself to be judged on.

    appearance
    back ground
    sexual orientation

are all out. how far are we willing to go? how far do we want to go?

because it seems to me that the more we remove the ability to label each other over superficial things the only option left will be to label each other on the things that "matter" i put it in quotes because i dont know if the things that matter now will mater later, or if their relevance is now.
will there be an open cast system in the future where we judge each other on emotional, mental, and social maturity?
like is always drawn to like in the human realm as far as i am aware. will this always be so?
No, it is not possible to remove prejudices. To remove prejudices would require everyone to have the same views. Everyone would need to view a certain race the same way. A certain bodytype the same way. A certain age group the same way. A certain gender the same way. Etc...
And when you add the fact that the majority of people like to gossip, talk about others, you know, act human, then it is easy to see how prejudices can quickly errupt due to mob mentality.

You only need to "see" people as people and realise that we are all different but all the same. That's all.

I agree. The only problem is not everyone sees people as just people and not everyone realizes we are all the same.

    People are all just people.

And we're all unique. Our differences are what identify us. Ironically enough, that's true for all of us.

Of course, people that post on web forums tend to be rather more intelligent and opinionated than others, or escaping from something, or... nah; I'm joshin' y'all.

i cant be the judge of weather or not stereotypes will go the way of lynchings, stonings, or tar and featherings. because while i know some of them i never seem to be able to look long enough at the surface layer of others to make them. i can never not see past what your wearing and how you talk to who you are. i can never not notice the lovable human standing in front of me. i would lament this and my lack of ability to stereotype, but that would be pointless, as everyone who knows me tells me how wonderful it is that i cant.
