I thought about that but... a speed reduction to that magnitude would make the phalanx prime archer targets fast.

Suppose we add in a % evade = to the % speed loss, so say... 70% speed lost, 70% projectile evade.

Now.. that evade should be broken and speed back to normal once the defensive melee units collide with the phalanx.

Perhaps once that happens the +% to life and defense should remain...
