    Default HH's for sale

    There seems to be a lot of HH's being sold on my server for serious money.
    yes people pay 10 game coins per hero when they first join the server and set out to monopolise all the HH's on the server, but does hitting afew npcs with them to level them up warrent being able to sell them for 1000%/2000%/3000% profit??? maybe more....i will not bow down to these people and pay 60$ for something they got for 1$......

    i guess my question is can anything be done about this?

    my sugestion....i think i've said it before, is to limit the amount of HH's a player can have.

    Yes it is a big problem.

    Limiting heroes is punishing the innocent people for what others choose to do and i disagree with that. I am not sure what other measures evony could impose to stop what has basically become standard practice.

    The problem is it's too hard to get them from other players. If they say made it so you can cap a hh from just winning an attack or for the older servers sowing works even if the hh is hidden etc. People wouldn't need to go to such lengths to get one.

    This is why all HH's should be available to all players. Just don't allow a player to have more than one copy of the same HH. But allow every player to have a copy of any HH. This would be fair to late comers and non-spenders. And it would bottom out the ebay market of those notorious gold-farming companies that are diversifying their product lines.

    HHs lose their power and appeal if everyone can get all of them.

    On a non-attack server HHs are one of the few things to fight for (besides HCs) since we cant attack or plunder 99% of the cities on our servers.

    I have fought long and hard for the HHs i have and would be angry for anyone willing to spend 10 cents to get the same result.

    Maybe if they announced before a sever was released this was how it worked I wouldn't mind as long as the server had the attack button.

    That's a fair point.

    We had a thread discussing this before. As the server ages, the HH population gets far too thin. Would you be okay with a new "batch" of HH's appearing every month? So a new server would have one of every HH, but a server that was 4 months old, would have 4 of each HH. This still limits the amount of HH's but allows access to late comers or non-spenders. That seemed to be a reasonable solution that someone proposed.

    Thats really reasonable, and would be interesting.

    I do think in the end the strong player would still get most of them. If you dont like playing against a player with 10+ HHs now you are gonna hate when that same big player has 20 of them, most of which are top 10 attack heroes and he is not afraid to lose them cause they can be easily replaced.

    Also you will notice on almost every server Henry IV (best HH) is owned by a top player. When some random guy grabs it on one of evony's releases, he is gonna be pounded until it is captured by a big player. Same with the other top HHs.

    If I captured him, I would not persuade him just to hold him prisoner in my FH.

    if i captured him i would advertise it on world chat and give out my coords just so people can pound thier armys of millions into my elite historic SAS battalion lol

    the majority of HH's on my server are owned by the same people, so these guys already have 30+ HH's minimum. what do these heros do for them? very little i believe(apart from make them 30-60$ a hero). its an ego thing (i have 45 HHs! how many u got?) and a way to stop other people owning them.

    evony needs to put some thought into this as there are lots of people making money by selling an evony product, which is basically steeling.
