Let's look at the difference between 2 waves of pults and an entire city lockup.

2 waves = 8 spots in the rally still free, we keep one to continue scouting, that means 7 slots are still free, meaning you could still gain 7*19mil food in one wave of farming, or the lowest you could gain is 7*3mil, if considering full npcs.

Now, 21mil food gain against the loss of 186mil food (93mil for 1 hit) is still -165mil food, that's assuming about 15 miles away, and I only did that with pure pults, a proper attack would be less. That's only if you're lazy, you could easily get more farming done as well.

This does not measure up to the inability to move troops from 4 cities, or farm from them for 3, 4, 5 hours... Possibly even days.

I get it, the concept sounds good. But in the end, the hard numbers (That which Evony is built on.) clearly show, this is not a system that is ideal.

No offence dude, but if you're not worried about food in age1, your army is puny.

Having said that, I think I'm going to leave this topic for now, my inital point which sort of got lost is the only thing I'd like to remind people of.

This is not an instant capture.

It can be if you send the waves on the exact second.. this is in 1min which ain't much.

To do that you would need to have every single wave as a spearhead attack, due to not knowing which would land first during the second, I've got better things to do with 4mil archers for the x amount of hours they'll spend marching, thanks.

Y not just advance TP your war city right next door to the reds? Especially if you have a lot of them as I do...

this way is a lot longer then usual way.....
just use your farming wave... and then about 30-40 waves of 5k cavs and 5k scouts... time after the farming wave of course...
although your way may be cheap way... but dunno can not be asked to calculate it all

i play age 1&2 i can tell ya that they dont clear npcs in age1 like they do in age 2 so atp is easier to do in age2 but in age 1 if there is no open flat then you have to capture a city more than likely

This way is designed for the least loss. Taking a level 10 NPC from 100miles away with cav will cost you around 30-50k.

The cooldown is not good for a war city sitting in a hot zone.
