It depends on how he hacked you. Does he have access to your computer? Is he on the same network (at home or work or your favorite netcafe, for example)?

If he has installed a keylogger or has some other means of access into your computer, then you need to clean your computer first. After that, change your Evony account password; also, don't save the username and password in the login screen if you're not the only person who uses the computer.

Note that IT administrators at work often have a way to log in to your computer, even when they don't have physical access. In addition, skilled people in the same network might be able to sniff the network traffic and see your username and password travelling from your computer to the Evony site through the network.

It really depends on your situation.

Did this "hack" come about because you gave your password to someone? If so, then what you can do about it is not give your password to anyone...

More info on the "hack" and what it has been used for on your account would help people to give advice here :-)

Is it a "hack" because he gave you the account then came back weeks later?

I was originally going to say not to be judgmental before getting more facts, but as it is with what is said in the first post, I actually agree now.

Good point... I missed the whole "he quit, then came back" part...

This is not a "hack". Accounts are not supposed to be transferrable, although they are transferred all the time. That said, if the account was not mine to begin with, I'm not sure why I'd call "hax" if the original owner wanted it back...

Yeah, the term "Hacked" is way over-used and misused. 99.999% of the time it's somebody that shared their password and got skrewed over for it. Live and learn....

If you change your password and use a security code that you never share, it should fix 99% of these issues.

That and make sure you really trust people before you share login info with them.
