    Easy solution to HC problems (reletivly better, to what has been said)
    Make Hc12 to 18 portable and name it that: HC12 to 18. Draft range stays with the HC's and everything else.

    Same with Atlantis.

    with that they will need to add more HC's and Atlantis (HC18's). And make it easier to cap them as their number increases. Multiple drafting might become a problem until folks cap 14's and 16's of their own (which cant be drafted from other 14's and 16's). or make a player city only draftable once with a HC.

    HH multiple shouldn't be a problem.

    (1) There are already multiple HHs across all servers- maybe Evony is testing this
    (2) With (1) being said, HCs (naming) will not be affected either.


    (3) How to counter "boredom"
    (A) Kicking everyone out in your alliance to attack them is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. People don't join top alliances to protect themselves, but to learn. And if they aren't willing to help out a bit or willing to take advice and learn, then they're opt for being kicked out.
    (B) Even declaring war on everyone won't necessarily mean much. The only real excitement players seem to get from overcoming "boredom" is attacking player owned HCs. Why? Because of the attack button. If players are allowed to plunder, evony will see in increase in their financial quarter, a significant increase.

    I'm probably responsible for killing off about 30% of my server, not my alliance....just me. So, if something isn't done (about player cities) before all the 14s and 16s get capped then we are going to have a serious issue. I wonder which sever will be the first complete dead server.

    Really bad idea. Then the owners of critical HC's will simply keep random porting to avoid attacks and being conquered. They are in static locations for a reason. So players of the area they control can attempt to take them back. If the HC's are ported 300 miles outside of the area they control what are players supposed to do? Keep porting near the HC as it moves so they can attack it? What would happen is that players will cap and port HC's away. Then everyone in the area of it's influence will need to port 300 miles just to attack it to attepmt to take it over. That idea will make it REALLY hard to take enemy owned HC's.

    ~HH's should be duplicated anyway.....there are not enough on each server.

    ~HC's are a different ball game.....like someone mentioned the map could just be doubled or trippled in size depending on how many servers merge

    ~HC's get placed in new spots, lv18 no longer would control the server....the introduction on a new lv20 HC would be the new daddy

    ~more lv18's for state capitals, more lv16's to become the new lv14's, more lv 14's to become the new lv12's.

    something like that anyway.....i dont get paid to sit here and work out all the little details so i aint guna lol

    HH duplicates are acceptable, I think.

    HCs are the major issue imo. A bigger map would rock, infact I prefer it, but I don't see it happening.

    The easiest way to solve the HC dilemma I think would be to simply offer generous compensation packages to current HC owners and reset all HCs to NPCs.

    Compensation should account for # & levels of HCs the player owns as well as any level 10+ buildings/resource fields and an assumption that speedups were used on some buildings. HC 16 and Atlantis compensation should obviously be substantial.

    To prevent mass conquering of HCs after merge Evony can:

    1) Make the HCs unattackable for the first 24,48,etc hours after merge.
    2) Possibly make them more difficult to conquer.

    If Atlantis was capped on your server by another alliance, this will also give you another shot at it. This may not be the most popular option, but we need to consider the amount of time and money Evony has to put in to make this work. The less of that, the higher the chances Evony will consider merging AgeII servers.

    I can only speak for my server, Na3

    the top players are leaving in droves

    handing off their 16s & 14s/HHs

    Many have pretty much given up on a merge, and see no future in the server

    It is easy to get in a position with a massive truckload of troops to sit in HCs that basically can not be taken. Then leave regular cities with no troops in them. Who cares if they get 'colonized' - not that it happens anyway lol

    Food - have to give up on farming at some point, and just keep a massive negative. Buy food when desired. I buy food very rarely now

    I have no desire to colonize active players - its stupid

    Therefore, there is very little to do. Most important HCs have been taken.

    Without a merge, the server will just wither away. Again, I dont see that a merge will work anyway.

    HC city idea
    lv 1o's every 50 miles
    lv 12's every 75 miles
    lv 14's every 100 miles
    lv 16's every 120 miles
    alantis every 150 miles
    thebes (or some other world changing city) every 250 miles
    just a thought

    been playing over a year on Na3. It was fun, like (rolly smile)

    but now is

    if a computer game aint fun no more, i cant see why i should devote more time to it

    Im having fun on Na27 atm. but belief in the dead-end nature of each Age2 server doesnt help. I think Age2 is fairly redundant now. The ideas were good, they just were not fleshed out enough.

    The players are seeing the massive pitfalls in the game design. And these problems appear far too great to be tackled

    And the design is such that with evonys track record of Age I mergers, the Age II merger would be thought out just as much and well, cause the rest of the folks to quit.

    Age II seems to be designed not to run forever. The level caps on the heroes alone demonstrate that to me. I personally feel Evony got tired of the fact that in Age I some folks have been playing the same account for 2 years-- -and want to put some sense of finality into it.

    Not saying that is good design-- Personally I think there is a lot of Age II design (like some of the caps) that is strictly over-reaction to an inability to hire real honest to got analysts to examine the design of evony overall and work on it. We've seen too much knee-jerk (emphasis on jerk) modifications in both ages for anyone to hope for real thoughtful answers to any of these issues.

    Or make the map 4x the size and have the 4 servers in their states but then make one state in the middle with 20s in there as 12s 22s as 14s 24s as 16s and 18 as a 26. give us the attack button give us adv teles for all our cities. make our titles bigger up to like 15 cities. then let people battle it out for the 26s and such
