Scene 4: The Plan
Characters in the jail may now escape and meet with the others.
Duration: an evening
Activity: planning a return to the inn under cover of darkness to break in and search for Gweneal. Executing the plan and entering the inn.
Goal: to use the characters' skills to solve problems.
Tone: concerned, excited, a real "let's do this!" atmosphere.
Environment: at the blacksmiths, after hours.
Ends: When the team breaks into the inn. DO NOT EXPLORE IT YET.
*special* You have free reign to create a plan that allows everyone's skills to shine. Every character should use a skill they possess in this scene.
*special* Consider the following in your plan:
- The cityguardsmen have a jailhouse and tower opposite the inn.
- There are stables adjacent to the inn.
- Gark has dogs guarding his property.
- There's normally a nighwatchman patrolling the streets nearby.
- The inn's doors and windows are locked.
- Gark is a very light sleeper.
- Two of your team are wanted criminals.
- There may be guests staying at the inn.
