I think more restraint by law enforcement/governemnt could have been show in both cases. It's not like there was some huge and immediate threat in both cases. It could have been taken much much slower in both cases and I feel that if it was then things would not have escalated the way they did. Ruby Ridge and Waco are hot topics among gun activists in the USA. Since I was an avid gun owner when I was in the states I have herd many many sides and arguments to both cases. But my opinion remains unchanged. And that is: There was no real immediate threat, thus law enforcement/government could have moved much much slower in both cases which would have helped things not to escalate the way they did.
