The first article I found amazing for the amount of hostility a simple name change generated as it was a reasonable type of name and not a silly or profane name. I guess I shouldn't be surprised really. After all when Cassius Clay changed his name to Mohamed Ali he was vilified by the media of the day as well.
As for the other article, that's where I left my grand piano! Wow, that was some party!
