3. why in the world would you put something like this on the forums? i'm all for helping the community out when it comes to learning how to play but with evony eliminating things that have drastically changed gameplay in recent months why risk something like this?

Main difference is this way is a LOT cheaper. And I would rather start the fight with 50% heal rather than work my way to it. But that's just IMO.

we dont really need a guide to scout bombing. everyone knows how to do it. this is a totally different idea and is cheaper, and smarter than using your own troops to drop honor.

Scout bombing costs a lot of resource's in the rebuild compared to my method, and you aren't even using your own troops in my method.

They wont remove it. It's not a glitch it's common sense. Your killing something which cost's a lot of resources so you are losing a lot of honor when it's killed.

You can typically send warriors equal to around 80-90% of the DTs on the walls. Attacks with 5k work but are going to take a lot longer simply because it takes more runs. But dont overdo warrior numbers, as it is a real problem to wipe the DTs from the walls if too many warriors are sent. There is a significant random variation regarding how many warriors trigger how many DTs, so dont play with the maximum number you can send. (Average is typically 3 warriors trigger 2 DTS, between 60-70%, but I have seen it as high as almost 1 to 1, and as low as 50%).

This would be why the recommended useage is 5K warriors... 11K trebs x 50% = 5.5K and people tend to err on the side of caution

Make sure the defender's gates are closed - otherwise it reduces effectiveness since units other than DTs kill warriors.

Hero also comes into play if the gates are open, and for Evony-only-knows what reason, even if there's nothing in the city (no troops or hero), having open gates will seriously diminish your honour loss.

EDIT: On a side note, using 5k warrs with the 1 count layers I am only loosing 100k-170k honor.. no where near the 500-700k mentioned in the OP.

the 1count layers make zero difference, regardless of claims that it increases the number of rounds a hero will go. What WILL affect the amount of honour lost is intel. Suggest not using a hero under I50 when trebbing off honour.

I also suggest mining the inn for the highest intel hero you can get to hit with so each warrior counts for as much as they can.
Results are variable depending on hero used etc and obviously they trigger a random number of trebs.

Fragsrus - if you are getting crappy honor drops, it is almost certainly because the attacker's honor is more than 50% of defender's honor.

Sometimes, yes, but also likely that it's the use of low intel heroes, refer above.



As a sidenote for those truly desperate to wipe off that last bit of honour, occasionally, you can sub in some traps. Recommend a handful at most, no more than 100, but this actually starts to cost "real" resources, and can very occasionally reduce the effectiveness of the trebs.

I usually drop honor behind the scene =)

If I don't have tele, i will work with neighbors willing to take some honors for exp, and there is usually a taker.
