Face recognition biometrics - in school?

Lol only way of they check our presence out here in The Netherlands is calling out names in class, an that's only if the specific teacher is in the mood for it

Face Recognition sounds crazy and unnecessary, if a pupil decides he has better things to do than going to school (like, evony for example ) theres 2 options:
1. The pupil is a genius and still has top-marks, in which case there's nothing to worry about
2. The pupil is not a genius and his absence shows in his results, which are his own responsibility, and with which he decides what options he has in his own future. In this case, the pupil either gets back to school and back to work, or he's plain stupid.
