Entire Evony Server History

When searching for something today I stumbled across this now closed thread: http://bbs.evony.com/showthread.php?...ghlight=Server. Sturm asked the following:

I wish somewhere on these forums we had the timeline and start dates of each server listed..... It cracks me up to see someone say i have been playing for two years when the game has not been live near that amount of time.

I started Server4 right after it opened up and that was in March/April 2009 if I remember correctly.

With that being said, Evony Staff is their a post on the forums already that has the dates when each server went live? If not is their a way you could do so? I see where so many people are in disagreements on when their servers went live as it is.

EDIT: Since my original post in January (2011) I have made my charts public and have kept them up to date despite not playing the game anymore. I loved Evony, the game and the community, and hope that you will all enjoy this and not use it for flaming or spamming . Post/Image #1, is the history of start dates and post/image #2 is the history of mergers


The dates in RED TEXT are the assumed dates given all the information I've collected. (I've been playing since Server 7... so I've been around for most of the announcements) The dates HIGHLIGHTED IN RED are a known window of time that a particular server was started in. Information was collected from Evony announcements, forum member's posts stating "the server opened today" or similar statements and estimated windows are typically based off of when the server was known not to exist and when it first started showing up in discussion.

good catch... that is a typo.. it is suppose to be Nov. 5th. I'll get that corrected in the spreadsheet and a new image made ty ++REP

Wow SweetP... thanks for putting this into the community. Don't know exactly when I will need it. but it is just so cool to have floating around the forums and to know the history of the server... the history of Evony basically.

Haha, earlier today on WC someone tried to say his acc was 2 years old and was arguing with people that his acc was worthy of money (he was trying to sell his acc, FAIL) and I was able to say:

<12:19>[Starr Spark]: Just an fyi... the oldest any account on this server can be is approximately 1 year and 3 months

he tried to say the account was back from beta, and I said:

<12:20>[Starr Spark]: But, accounts cannot be transferred, only merged. The oldest merged server here is S96, which started Nov. 6th, 2009

...with my smart-a** authority cause I had just seen this chart the other night. The guy stopped talking after I pointed this out.
