It was a long process and a lot of discussions. By the end of the school year, that's the best description we could come up with. Of course, she didn't know the real difference between a standard color and a pastel, as we know the difference. The description may be throughly inadequate, but it was our best guess, based off what she described.

Either way, she always saw the same shade of a given color as another shade of another color. Her "colorblindness" was consistent. It's not like my red car was blue to her one day, but green the next.
