    if they can't change a thing, how do they feed troops or maintain the city? What happens if grievance is 100 and they've been praying every 15 minutes for only an hour, and then the 6 hours hits? They just lose the HC?


    People should be able to keep an HC if they have the time and troops to do so. I agree, they SHOULDN'T be able to if they don't have one or both of these.



    Evony unnaturally building in a block of time where they cannot actively defend their town seems heavy handed and debilitating to me.

    I am in full support of not being able to defend a HC if you and your alliance can't put up the troops to defend it.

    This would truly limit account-sharers, because regardless of who's behind the acct, the city would still have to be defended to be kept.

    Making HC's weaker than normal cities is a silly idea. Evony provides legitimate ways to break troops already and doesn't need to/won't change the rules because some people don't want to learn them.

    I believe that the problem is actually sharing accounts, there is no problem with the current battle mechanics. JP has probably recently tried to cap an HC owned by another player and failed and is therefore saying that it is a "problem" and needs to be "fixed." As I said before, if this were implemented, it would be impossible not to loose an HC due to an enemy easily being able to find the time where you can't do anything and taking advantage of it. + rep me if u agree

    yes, however unlimited speech texts are an unnecessary advantage to the defender.

    Yes, I do fail hard at times. But I do try to come up with common sense solutions that are fair to both sides. I am not much of a defender. I am an attacker. This is why others posters help find the problems in my ideas. But that also helps improve the ideas.

    I came up with 6 hours simply because most people work/sleep/school 6-8 hours per day. In most peoples lives there is going to be at least a 6 hour window where they cannot be online. So to make it fair for all, every player can set their 6 hour window for anytime during the day where they cannot do anything but view reoprts and alliance chat. They must rely on the alliance and embassy for those 6 hours like Evony intended. That is why the embassy is there. So I took the low number, 6, because 8 hours is a little high. Also because of the 8 hour supression in Age II. If the window was greater than 8 then a player could not fight a supression. A 6 hours window still allows a player 2 hours to fight a supression if the 6hr sleep window begain the second they got put into supression.

    As for the hour of the day, that could be set by the user and password protected just like releasing heros and stuff has a password on it. Say I live in Germany. This is my daily life schedule:
    9am-5pm work/school (8 hours)
    11pm-7am sleep (8 hours)
    Well, I can set my 6 hour window to happen while I am at work/school or sleeping. I can change my window ever so often. Say it has a cooldown timer. This way every players sleep window can be at a different time that fits their life.
    As for your other questions...

    Food? They rely on alliance to send food during sleep window.
    Loyalty? If sleep window starts and disables their ability to do anything like comfort they must rely on alliance to hold the city for them by reinforcing embassy and using strats if Age II. Remember, it goes both ways. All players will have this same condition.
    This forced sleep window will promote more teamwork, increase the importance of having an embassy and a supportive alliance and will give all players a equal amount of attack/defend time (18 hours per day). The rest of the time they will need to rely on their alliance... which is the way it should be to begin with. So the most supportive alliances who have the best teamwork will be able to hold and keep the most HC's in Age II and in Age I will be able to defend the most.

    As a poster mentioned before, this 6 hour window should apply to all players, not just HC owners.

    the idea is enticing because of the challenge enabled. As you said, it would include only historic cities, and the alliance would be able to defend as well... really now that i think of it it is a novel idea.

    But yes, there would be innate problems such as what hours, and why 6. I do believe 6 is a great number choice, but I can't rightly tell you why that number works in comparison to others.

    Should a player be able to set his 6 hrs?

    someone asked earlier -- why 6 hrs? taking a hc takes 90 min...so why not 2 or 4 hours.

    I'll say this -- although i don't agree with most of your ideas on this matter, it's sparked some good discussion. Caused a few others to throw out ideas that I like, and caused some people to talk about issues that they have.

    Now, i doubt anything will ever come of it...but you never know.

    Yes, I think all players (not just HC owners) should be able to set their sleep window for any time of the day. They can readust their sleep window once every few days. But it would have a 48hr cooldown timer so players cannot change the window multiple times per day.
    The rest I explained to Heat in my above post. If you have anything else to add let us know. I'd like to hear more arguments.

    Default Loyalty Drops

    ALL of us at Outlaws been hitting the red 16(500 500) for over 48rs and we cant take it because loyalty keeps getting raised, im sure they got at least 3 people managing the account we broke more than 15 times 700k arch plus 100ks of layer balls included every time. We can keep going, BIA keeps bringing in more and more people in their alliance for troop help is a matter of time of who has the most troops BUT Evony needs o fix the loyalty drop.
