    I still want the real world examples and reports. I want to see scout reports and eyes and ears prior to the attacks. IWant to see the wall defenses, research levels, embassy level, etc... I want to see the number of waves sent and types of waves. I want to see the defending hero type and level. And I want to see the final clearing waves. I want to see more. Not just "Hey, we can take heavily defended HC's from players, no problem"

    Some alliance mates took one last night. Not super defended buy ill find the reports. There are over 100 so im not posting all of them tho.

    Now, was this a super defended HC with 100s of millions of troops like JP claims every HC has? No it wasn't but it was an enemy 16, so you go for whats on your server I guess. And yes this person is active as they ported in on an alliance mate early the same day, maybe thats where som of his troops went, im not really sure.

    Thanks Heatseeker. This is exactly the kind of real world info that helps us all understand the issues here better.
    So I see you guys attacked a HC that had:
    1.2 mil warriors
    50k pike
    146k sword
    1.1 mill archers
    64k ballistas
    4 rams
    700 catapults.

    And you say 10-15 players hit it for 24 hours and were still unable to capture it. This is what I think:
    1. The amount of troops defending that HC are well within reason. Not many troops at all. Any strong player should be able to take that HC from the rival without the help of anyone. So troop numbers in your case are not an issue at all.
    2. The fact that 10-15 players could not take it points to speech texts and account sharing as the main reasons why it was impossible to take. A city defended like that should be able to be taken quite easily.

    Webby, thanks. The HC you attacked is well within reason. Troop numbers are not an issue at all in your case. The HC was basically defended with:
    2 mil warrior
    34k pike
    160k sword
    300k arch
    34k cav
    27k phract
    58k balls
    9k rams
    1k pults

    In fact, like you said, defending troop numbers are actually low. I will do an eyes and ears and show you guys the numbers of defending troops that I deal with. They are defended with many many many times more troops.

    Honestly it may be harder on older servers because ppl have had longer to build up. I dont know the dynamic of you server but in alot of age II server one alliance or alliance family takesover and there isnt much to do.

    So what do they do? Sign on here and there and queue troops/draft troops and let them sit there.

    Two things will cut down the troops, refuge and the attack button. I know you are against these measures but they wil address your problem.

    And for many no matter how many times more troops the attack plan is the same you just need to spend more time on each layer.

    Depending on Attacking / Defending hero Attacks, Intel and stars


    500k bally
    2 Mil Archers
    4 mil scouts
    300k Phracts and 400k cavs
    And Layers
    Attacking is not about what they got.... EVER
    It is what you have to work with
    100k Phracts will do the same damage usually as 10+ Archer waves.... BUT if you don't have the phracts then you don't have them


    Now Scout Bombs CAN do some serious damage to mechs as has been proven over and over... IN fact I Used to mass make scouts and when I got bored I'd look For an enemy HC with a few hundred k / Mil Bally sitting in it and go a plundering to get them to open gates then splat their bally and Pults

    Just cause you have no idea on how to Attack and with what and when does not mean it is hard to take any HC..... It just means you have to have everything ready before you go and have many contingency plans for reo's / logging in / messed up waves


    Just learn for once. Read Others reports. Don't ask for stupid explantions that have been given over and over and over and over and over

    Taking down HCs is rather easy. At our peak attacking we reached well over 1800 pages of war reports on a colonize-only server. And if you want the explanation of how to attack, take advise! Those questions DM asked you are awesomely pimping important to understand. But attacking an HC isn't the issue, that's the easy part (FOR MOST).

    The REAL WORLD issue that was brought up is those "magic elves" increasing loyalty. HCs aren't meant to trade hands between rivals just because the "fair" thing would be to give everyone a chance. Just because you spend $10k USD doesn't mean you "buy" atlantis rival trading rights or anything.

    So far, the ultimate defense is account sharing.....not much that can overcome that.
