Hardly a test. Lag is worse the more cities you have. A fresh account with no requests to the server is hardly going to suffer the same noticable lag that advanced players get.

But it's there. I had to refresh 3 times between each city I capped due to the inability to read the scout reports on time.

As for Maint, It is a bit longer. Before it became an SS I used to gat back in on the 10 min mark. Now, 45 mins is the norm.

I did the exact same thing for server 150 where people were claiming that there was lag and noticied said lag within 1 minute of creating the account there.

On the other hand, I spent over an hour on SS54, multiple times (about 3 hours total) and didn't notice a single issue.

As I said, people need to specify a time when they feel that the server is slow and someone needs to look at it then.

Usually around 1600 server time and can last for 6 or so hours.

But it comes and goes. Refreshing doesn't help. I refreshed yesterday and got booted within 2 minutes of logging on again. It is random, but happens at the worst times.

I'm dealing with RL issues between posting, so I didn't catch this post immediately, but I signed on SS54 just now. I don't see any noticable lag. I'll do my best to stick around for 30 minutes or so...

Kinda hard to do all that as a beginner, but like I said, this same type of testing noticed the issue with server 150. It was immediately apparent there was a problem there.

What I can tell you is that I know that there are bursts of network activity when any report-worthy event happens. That can be a march returning, someone scouting you, an attack landing, a trade report, etc... Scrolling around on the map causes some network activity too...

Based on what I'm seeing, it's not the server that is having a problem, but the network. What I don't know is if that's an issue within Evony's network or something to do with your ISPs and/or some peering point along the way.

This is why I've mostly stopped attempting to help people.

That "techy-mumbo-jumbo" is required. If you're unwilling to cooperate, then I'm not paid one single penny to work with you to try to get to the bottom of the issue, so, frankly, if that's your attitude, you can just go talk to the company that will just tell you to delete your cache and cookies and then blame you or your computer...

I have seen increasing maint times on a number of servers, ss45, ss58, 144, and na1. They all have 1/2 hr or longer reset. Didnt used to be that way. What happened moderators?
