What a mess. Why do I even bother with these petty arguments that lead to nowhere. Niel headed to the place he truly knew, the arena. The "dealer" was waiting there...

"No fight for you today, the opposing combatant backed out. Take half of the winnings and leave" The arena dealer grunted.

Niel walked away, somewhat in a disappointed mood. He remembered the missing child, but tried to ignore it... Now walking through the city, just to pass the time away.

"What about everything around them? And the door?"

"I might be able to do something about the door." Jacha said to the man as he continued to examine the bars and places where it met the wall.

Smith studied the hinges, and he smiled. "This door was lifted onto the hinges. That is how they first built the thing...All we need is something strong enough to lift a few hundred pounds of iron."

He looked at the other man, and he was extremely perplexed at this "brilliant" new plan of his.

"So sleeping is involved???" Smith was a bit confused about the whole thing.

He looked at the cot, and then back to the door--and back to the cot again.

"Do you think one of our beds could be used as a lever to lift the door?"

"where am i?" Gweneal asked the dark and blurry figure in front of her. Nothing smelled right, her arm was sore, her legs were sore, her mind was sore. "am I still dreaming?" her second question was answered like her first, that is to say, not at all. "can I have a drink?"
water fell from her right and tickled over her parched lips waking her momentarily. "ca-" she mumbled into the darkness. Someone was missing, someone important, who was it? Before she could answer darkness enfolded her mind once again

"Wait a couple days. let the get comfortable with us being here. They'll have less guards to deal with." he answered as he began to drift off to sleep once more.

A few miles and as many polite inquiries out of the town, Ecgleofu had found the house of the farmer that Haffys had spoken of-the one who found a strange box within his fields which had subsequently burnt him. She continued leading her horse and leafed through one of her notebooks. Perhaps it was made out of an older alloy? Something mixed in with the iron could make a material capable of storing energy like that... she thought.

Closing the book again and clasping it closed, Ecgleofu approached the widow's door and knocked purposefully.

That kind old lady stopped the rain for us.
She said it would only make us cold, and miserable, and sick.
We thanked her and hugged her and she walked away smiling warmly.
    I miss the puddles...

Jason returned home after the arresting of Smith, to clean it up as he had planned to do so, but the storm had got in the way, and then go and open his shop that weren't located so far from the jail. When he came home he started to clean up the place immediately to make it more welcome-ish for people. After 2 hours of cleaning, he decided it was best to open up his shop and let the customers in. When he left his house he made sure that he had locked the door and then he headed off in the direction of the jail. As he arrived, he took out his key ring, consisting of two keys, and unlocked the door. It was a small shop, but there were all kind of things. Saddles, farmer tools, books, maps, furnitures and some trinkets that were sold as souvenirs for the travelers. He took his place behind the desk and were ready for the customers.
