As many have pointed out there is a double part dispute on this..
1. The valley being able to hold multiple troops.
2. Valleys for food.
First of the 2nd point is a glitch I can understand it being fixed (that don't me I agree or like it).
Second troops moving to a valley filling one slot is 'not' a glitch and has been that way for years (aka from when I first started playing over 2yrs ago).
This aspect is:
a) a key component in defense
b) if you call it a glith easy limit a valley to holding 1mil troops top, then players simply need to move troops to more than one valley. Just allowing the valley to count as one slot makes the defense system more functional.
In disabling it the way that evony has they have really hindered and ruined a vital aspect of this game. It is not hard to see by the sheer volume of replies that this is a very badly handled fix.
As for the valley move costing less it doesn't I have tried several times with various troops and the food bills 'DO NOT' match up. What it says will be removed and what actually is taken are two seperate and massively different totals.
Already I know players on ss53 who are now prepared to stop playing the game over this particular 'fix' as Evony has labelled it. I, like many others, strongly suggest that the Evony representatives read this thread and have a serious rethink in how they have handled things..
