Don't worry couples, you have plenty of chances the rest of the year to rub our faces in the dirt. The simplest public display of affection will always serves as a reminder to more than a few people nearby that they aren't entitled to love. Go to a mall and kiss your partner, you will surely feel better for making half the people around you just a little more miserable than they were before.

Rota, if you give me an address, I will send you homemade cookies. No joke.

Lots of people like me, and that's humbling. But, love is a whole different level, that's not going to happen through casual posting on an internet forum.

You're right but I've always found that there are different kinds and levels of love. From romantic love to...well loving people on an internet forum.

If you were ever to leave so many people would grieve at your departure. Not quite the same but similar to the loss of a loved one.

More than many...we would probably have to have a week of solely Rota-remembering posts.

To be loved by other people, you must first love yourself and come to terms with yourself before branching out to love others to be loved in turn, so I believed.

Chocolates are a symbol of Valentine's Day, not necessarily the only form of love. People send it if they can, if they love others, if they can make money to afford it, etc, but in no way is it necessary.

Shouldn't be so negative now, I'm sure in the future you can get a valentine's gift and then you'd regret this thread.

For 16 years I had no one to send a Valentine's Day gift to, but you didn't see me walking around mopey or angry about it. I'm really happy to have someone to send some chocolates to this year with my love. If I can find a person to send chocolates to, I'm sure in time you will send some and receive some in return, just patience

Happy Valentine's Day to you Montros, and to everyone else.
U should of sent some to Georgia
