But how many of us advance port in a red flag state.
I think its more a legit tactic becuase porting in an undefended city to a red state for this purpose presents a risk to the person doing it in that theres that sketchy span when your enemy can take it.

    I'MMMMMMMM BAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!

norr is basically a lesser version of shep
hes not as awesome as me, but hell do root (nod)

I know a really good attacker, one of the most methodical in the game that will advance port within 30 miles of several targets, wait for cooldown to end, and then cap npc near target and take their resources, move res to war city, send troops back to war city, npc the jump city... rinse and repeat

Thanks everyone for the comments. Here's some more:

    4. same as #3, except that: adv port -> send attack to take the city -> current city owner goes into truce or holiday. so no one else can take city but you.

    5. Relaying resource transport with players of different prestige levels to avoid plunder penalty.

edit: 6. long hour(long distance, 24hr+ blinking) attack. It's annoying but real attack can come when you sleep if you don't truce.

4,Fine because it maybe an enemy doing just that. No way to differentiate.

5,Nothing wrong with doing this either.

6,Well they have fixed the camp times so there isn't any overly stupid long attacks but you are allowed to send camped attacks.

I agree a 24hr is a bit overlong and maybe a 12hr one instead would more appropriate. But regarding that quote I think we've all agreed it's a perfectly legit mechanic. I was being too over zealous.

EDIT: Just thought, I forgot about those truces didn't I mmmmmm.

    fixed camp time??
how could a 61hr attack have been sent on one of my alliance mates?
    here is what happens
send 20hr attack, camp one for 15 hours, send one from further away at 40 hours, camp for 20 hours.... there, the person has a bird blinking for 60hrs
they never fix the issues, just make ways to work around them, it's classic evony problem solving at it's best
