Anything dealing with fast food has been awful for me. I was paid way too little to care how much people liked their meal. People did not only complain, but they would take their anger out on workers. Every day was stressful and it made me realize how little patience is in the world. I liked the people I worked with, but the customers could be so stressful.
Luckily I moved on and I am finishing my degree. High school jobs sure do leave an imprint on you.![]()
filing files...boring...and lots of papercuts...which are annoying...
Mine was working as an overnight stocker for the same company I work for now. Tossing 200lb tv's around like frisbees all night sucks. To keep my job, I had to keep up with the muscle-bound 22 yr old guys I worked with, and in the process I went through bottles upon bottles of advil, broke a finger once, came home every morning black and blue and so sore I could hardly move, AND got to be abused by customers. On the bright side, I occasionally got to sprint across the store after shoplifters, and if you have never seen a woman in her 30's chase down a 15 yr old wanna-be thug and make him pee his pants, then I assure you it's a sight that will make you laugh for years to come.
I worked in an internet cafe for two months and i hated it. it comes down to dealing with underaged punks![]()
How about doing hard time as a Jacuzzi Attendent at a Ski Resort. Handing out towels, giving people plastic cups. Sound easy?
Ever seen the scum-line left when everyone gets out? You get to clean it off at the end of your shift every night.
Makes Soylent Green sound absolutely delicious.

My first job was my worst job. I have no idea what the official title would be other than "legalised child labour".
I had to package things, and not like just put the stuff in a box and send it off, no...I had to package the individual items into individual containers, make sure they all had labels on correctly and neatly and make sure they were secure...I got a penny for each packaging item. So if I did 100 I got £1
Lamest job ever.
Official King's Bar Co-Owner and Barmaid
I was a telemarketer once for about 2 days, that was probably my worst job. I would rather spend another year in Iraq than work telemarketing for 3 months. That is not an over exaggeration. I also used to make couches for La-Z Boy. I worked on the production line and one time I stapled my hand to the back of a couch... and then got yelled at for getting blood on the fabric. :-/
refurbing a bar in edinburgh was infested with rats ! during the rip out came face to face with a giant rat it didnt flinch ! just sat there it had tattoos and was smoking a cigarette and wasnt till i threw my hammer at it that it decided it would move
