    LOL why do you think I'd like to cap some noobs city ;-) npc enemy alliances cities yes but that's something different. Strong alliances don't bother doing that to weak ones as they pose no threat. Also, I don't think many people spend money on a city.... ;-)

    anyway, non-attack server is your thing. Stay there. Majority of us enjoys the attack/conquer option since this is meant as war game not sim city.

    Personally I didn't touch Age II before I heard there's attack button and conquer option.

    Good point. Now let me think this thorugh....
    1. All new players are directed to "protected" game environments (servers Na1-19).

    2. Na1-19 environments are not as "harsh" as other servers. Thus totally new players are less likely to get discouraged and quit.

    3. Since totally new players are less likely to quit the game if they are on Na1-19 this means that Na1-19 growth will begin to outpace all other servers.

    4. This will also mean that there will be more new players who come to "try out" the game on Na1-19 which will result in more "dead" accounts as some new players decide they don't like this game.

    5. In turn "dead" account clearing will be even more important on Na1-19.

    6. Evony can simply add more servers that follow the Na1-19 style of play. Since server names are now weapon names, Evony can simply make a few more servers and add those to the pool of colonize only servers that new players will get directed to in a round robin fashion.

    It is critical that Evony do this. That Evony direct totally new players to colonize only servers that have already been matured/active for months. If totally new players are directed to new servers then the whirlwind race that happens when the server opens will leave them scratching their heads wondering what the heck is going on and why everyone is running around like wild rabbits on crack. New players need to be directed to colonize only servers that have been established and are far past the initial mad dash to the top. Sending totally new players into chaotic new servers where experienced players move at light speed compared to them is a huge mistake. Sening them to servers where their cities can be captured by the same experienced players who move at light speed is another huge mistake.

    I agree with the first ones but the last ones not so much, I do think there should be a cap to HHs cause lets face it people are stacking WAY to much and if you disagree then your one who does lol. The cap should be maybe 20 though, 1 attack or Politic hero per city or Intell which ever you like.

    The offline mode would help with account sharing but it shouldn't be a force offline mode maybe a cool-down? I dunno aha.

    Also as a new idea, cents in the wheel should be changed, its like the lottery, would you rather have 1 huge win (less chance for you) or 10 1 million dollar wins (more chance for you but less reward). I think cents should be 500 at most but then more per day?

    I skimmed this thread and I'm not entirely sure if anyone already pointed this out, but one thing crossed my mind: You say you want quest-enforced HHs and HH caps so every player has a chance for one, but then recommend players are redirected to NA 1-19, where all HHs are likely to already be taken and nearly unobtainable for new players. Can you clear this up?

    Yes.
    New players have no chance of getting a HH even if they are allowed to start on a server 1 day before experienced players. The fact is, a new player has no idea what a HH is. The in-game Quest tells them to capture a HH by buying a portrait and attacking the location where the HH is. But often times it requires knowledge of the game to get the HH's when a server opens. New players don't stand a chance on ANY server, new or old, for an HH. By the time a new player has enough troops to even BEGIN to hunt for a HH on a new server, all the experienced players have captued all of them already.
    So, by making is a quest, like the King/Queen quest, every new player can do the quest at some point. So if Evony were to add a new quest that included a nameless HH (players are given an opportunity to name their quest HH just like a regular hero that way Evony does not need to dream up 100,000 different names) then players on any Age II server can get a HH regardless of how late they start the game.

    Sorry but this sounds to me that you want evony to focus more on what you like then what most want. Evony has a lot of problems in age1 that are not being met. And now you want evony to focus even more on age2. 1st try asking what others think. Make a poll for all players asking if they prefer attacking servers or colonize servers. Ask a mod nicley if he/she would mind keeping it on topic as you know your threads lead to a lot of flaming. Then make a suggestion fitting what everyone want.

    Sure worlds 1-19 are less demanding and have far less risk then other servers. But this is a war game and ppl came for the risk. Not to hide from battle and farm.

    You are mising the point.
    This is not about you or me or what we want. Also, by "most" I am sure you do not mean SEEFA (Small Evony Enthusiast Forum Army). Because SEEFA does not represent most. SEEFA represents the experienced players mostly from Age I.
    This is about a totally new player wanting to try out the game. So how about asking somone who has never played a MMORG and wants to give Evony a try... how about asking them what THEY want? If you drew up a list of the pros and cons and comparrisons and gave it to them... i bet $100 that in most cases the person totally new to MMORG and Evony will opt to play on Na1-19 type server.

    As for risk, a player can choose to own 9 HC's on Na1-19 and choose to have as much risk as any Age I server.

    Maybe what he means is more along the lines of a HH that is just specific for one player, nameless like he said that is randomly put in the state hes in to make him accomplish this quest and learn to travel and what not. It is pretty much a Queen/King still but is the next quest step after that maybe. Thus making it more fair for everyone to own at least 1 and get their FULL experience they can out of Evony.

    Just combine the Queen quest and HH quest and make a new hero thats a hybrid of both? No loyalty and higher leadership. You can get the ability to rename it too lol.

    Send ppl to these servers and they see others with 50-200mil prestige, and they see their prestige go up 50k in a week and they will quit.

    We know prestige means nothing but new players do not, and alot of new players look at the leader board to see where they should be.

    The best way to learn is to play a full attack server and spend no money. Then use what you learn to start fresh. Its actually evony's business plan so I don't think we can change it.
