Bailey Jay is actually very pretty, I showed a friend of mine, he gave his nod of approval, said it was a guy, and he turned inside out.

    1. I'm going to agree with SbD's definition of true love. I think it's when the love is true and genuine and not said whimsically, deceitfully, or out of convenience.

    2. Conrad- Pure love can exist. I love my family with all my heart and soul and I have no underlying libidinous drive to have sex with any of them. I also care deeply for many of my friends, and again, have no urge to have sex with them. Unless you specifically mean pure love between life partners.

As for sexual activity... well, you can't have children and start a family without it. Ideally, you'll want children with the person you truly love, and not with some random stranger on the street you don't care about. Alternatively, you could forgo children and a family and live a life of chastity (which some people indeed do), but a common practice of that by humankind to achieve pure love would correlate directly with our abrupt extinction. At least until petri dish babies become a cheap, affordable, and common practice. Though I think mass produced genetically engineered babies takes the magic out of the whole thing.

    Talking

Love is a grave mental disease. ~ Plato
A chemical reaction happens that is pretty much the same as with a drug addiction. Hormones driving you nuts, closing eyes & ears to reality, only focussing on that "real" love. eventually it evolves into decication commitment and so on. Is that true love? I guess that is what comes closest.

Love, the word, in this matter is overrated
Love, the feeling is a mind game. No hearts involved there

Love is overated, biochemically identical to eating large quantities of chocolate
Bottom line: if love is a chemical reaction caused by serotonin, dopamine, oxytocin and what else, you can say that reaction is true. Anything that triggers this reaction is relative. Romantics have always known that love is a special sort of chemistry. Scientists are just showing how true that is.

aye, weel, ah time for my two pence then?
    true love.... och aye.
indeed i've been wi' my fair share o' women an' i must say i loved them all.

now to be serious. in my opinion true love can only exist and one wishes it so. by todays standards it cannot, though this is due to the level of corruption in our times. defined as SbD has done i find that one may choose to believe or not. there will always be those who do and those who cannot fathom it.

typical bloke answer... yet another view there mate...

now fer my answer ohhh god this can look strange Conrad sorry I am one of those vulgar people and agree with physical intimacy and SbD's opinion but Pure love can too exist as previously stated... but as a teenage male I too see (as no doubt most of you guys have) the my generation comes out with "loving" a different person each day and what not they have no idea, hell I have no idea, hell fer that matter no one ha an idea of what it really is... no I can honestly go on and on and on but I wont instead I will finish with this....

Of all you mob out there apart From Conrad (due to his beliefs from what I can gather) no doubt most of you will have had sexual intercourse... the chemicals that have been released sort of well solidify the love between well partner a and partner b (hell now you got me trying to be PI) ok now? and this all reinforces my view which will probably be seen as immature

We all love a good (heh) and if we get something further out of it then thats a big bonus....

because most people after the first couple times will realise that either they really love this person or they dont and well most of us no matter what even Conrad are products or the former (yes you heard right products we all are everything is!)
