So you're suggesting we should have a package for:

    St David's Day
    St Georges's Day
    St Andrew's Day

The numerous catholic saints & their days

    Oh there's Australia Day
    Chinese New Year
    Bastille Day
    Guy Fawkes

Oh I could go on all day.... but seriously how many of those days outside their native countries does anyone celebrate or even know about.
Evony have got to draw the line somewhere.

Thanks to Infinitus for the epic B'day pressie!

I see nothing to really complain about, the main player base of the game is American, so obviously most of the holiday offers will be for something that is actually celebrated there, or well known there. The important thing to remember is that you too can take advantage of these offers, I do not understand why this is actually an issue, it is just a theme for a special offer. If you were to get special offers for every holiday, of every country with any sizeable player base, then there would be no point in them at all.

Firstly, this is not evidence of xenophobia at all.

DoubleM is right about the importance of St Patrick's day. In the US, it is a hugecdeal, the supermarkets sell all kinds of green junk, just like Halloween and St Valentine's day. St Andrew's day is not widely known in the US.

I don't get angry that they don't have Waitangi day gifts, or ANZAC day gifts.

This thread is not OT appropro, it's got a liitle taste of evony, a splash of religion and a snifter of whiskey.

I don't know a single gaming company that recognizes every known holiday of every known country or culture in the world. Yet it always feels like Evony's the only one that ever gets flak for doing the same thing every other gaming company does.
    It's all Rodri's fault.
