Well the 502SS Jaeger Battalion was Germany's special forces so to use Skorzeny as an example doesn't really work because this isn't just a regular battalion you're talking about, unless you can show me cases of where Hitler tried to control a regular Wehrmacht battalion.Well quite frankly he commanded individual Battalions like Skorzeny's (before it enlarged) and it may go against the doctrine but it did happen and not just him every one has done it still continues to do and will in future do it thats the way it goes sometimes....
