And I was more thinking in number or what percentage, like for example that 60% of the players multiaccount.
But you could never get that kinda stats I assume, as you haven't found them all yet, right?
There would actually be two different stats.
Maybe 80% of accounts are multi-accounts, but 20% of players are multi-accounting.

If there are 5 players, and 1 is a multi-accounter. The cheater may have 16 accounts (4 feeders and 12 flat-fillers). Then there is 80% multiple accounts, and 20% multi-accounters.

I would be curious about both stats.

I know what you were thinking, but I'm not going to release that data. You're correct too, we haven't sniffed them all out yet,
    I wasn't expecting you would.
Tho, just as Rota.. I am curious.

but I have on order a neat little AI that will actually predict which players will become botters. Generally, it involves psychics, and we were able to procure Dionne Warwick's brain.

A new study shows licking a frog can cure depression.
Down side is, soon as you stop, the frog get depressed again.

He was just adding a random percentage to his explanation.

    Sadly, I'd hafta agree.

It depends on what the meaning of "good" is.

I thought this was more about being good as in following the rules..

If this is turning into a convo about situational ethics...

Maybe it is "good" to be a multi-account flat filler. After all, you are doing it to protect/aid your alliance mates.

Maybe it is "good" to be a multi-account b0tter. After all, you will most likely have so many rez you don't know what to do with them aside from share them with others (be it alliance-mates or enemy plunderers).

    Just sayin'...

EDIT: In my experience, to offensively "good" requires a marriage of both game knowledge and large troop counts. On mature servers vs. knowledgeable players, the only way to win is to overwhelm the opponent with so many waves that he cannot counter them all....and acknowledge that he will also most likely not stick around to let you plunder him afterward. This combo pretty much always leads to some form of nefarious activity on the side of both attacker and defender and doesn't necessarily imply that either player is not "good" for employing said activities.

I wasn't guessing at the actual number. The 20% was just easy math for people to understand for the example I used. I expect the number of multi-accounters is actually much higher.

I would still like to hear Dave's thoughts and reactions to this post, since he's here...

I don't have anyone's account info, so don't ask. However, suspensions are occurring due to botting and other infractions. Basically, if you bot - please stop, otherwise we will suspend you. If you account share, please stop, especially if you have an HC.

Sorry you and your mates have been suspended, it's a temporary situation and I hope it will deter future bot use or rule circumvention.
People know that suspensions are the punishment. They don't mind getting a short vacation for free, in exchange for the massive resources and troops and mega heros gained from botting.

Permabans are the only disincentive. Massive sweeps of permabanned accounts with all their mega cities and massive heros deleted. That will dissuade people from botting. The occasional suspension does not strike fear in to the heart of a botter.

If for example Evony looked at their stats and determined that 80% of paying players multi-accounted, how you would suggest they continue as a viable company after losing all of the revenue?
LOL they wouldn't....somebody has to foot the bill to maintain the servers and the company certainly won't do it for free thats for sure!

Sounds like it's time for me to go to lunch.

Let me formulate a nice PC answer. I will say that I don't like permabans.
