• World Trade & Pentagon attacks
• Anthrax Attacks in the US
• Wikipedia was founded
• Apples released the iPod

However my childhood memories are better
I remember when :

• The orginal Postman pat, fireman sam and thomas the tank engine where on tv.
• When the IRA was the biggest terrorist threat, At least they would phone ahead and say there was a bomb!
• Red Rum was a house hold name.
• Mr Bobbly and Noel Edmounds made friday night TV.
• When Mobile phones first became popular
• Snake on nokias.
• N64 games console was the one to have.
• The spicegirls were first formed.
• When Bewitched had a hit song about a weatherman.
• When everyone thought The VengaBoys were cool.

Ok, ima stop now, Alot of them are UK references but you get the point!
