    I've sent you a PM. In it I've explained things. So that the viewing public understands, I have felt like helping for a very long time, but any time I've tried, my thoughts / ideas have been discarded, sometimes in very public ways. I'm basically saying I'm weary of attempting to help and having what I say marginalized, especially by non-technical people within the company. It has made me get to the point where I don't feel like making an effort to try to help, because ultimately it always goes back to "delete cache and cookies". I know that's not the answer, but I also know that up to this very moment, that's all the company was going to respond with, and that any effort I made to go through things with people was going to disappear into that same black hole that was mentioned. When faced with that realization, I decided that despite wanting to help, I could not help, because the company wouldn't allow the issue to escalate past a first-level tech support scripted response.

    So, to reiterate, it's not an issue of not wanting to help, but a realization that even if I tried to help, nobody in the company was going to listen. You say that you'll listen, so I'll try again and hope that the situation is different this time.

    It's an issue we're actively investigating.
    Hi Dave;

    How goes the investigation? I am still unable to log in to 145 but can to 150. I am not going to give up on having the problem fixed. I am still trying to find out if when i get the network connection error whether i am shown as on in the embassy and will let you and neko lord know as soon as i can find out.

    Neko Lord, thanks for caring enough about others troubles to help out. I still have not received anything from my outstanding ticket with evony.

    What we're suspecting at this point is that Primus is blocking a portion of the route to our play servers. Now we need to work with them to correct that.

    You don't like making things easy, do you?

    I just speak my mind. I don't demand things that are unfair.

    I don't know what you're using to make the determination that it's a Primus issue, but Primus is a regional CLEC. If it was Primus, it doesn't make sense that a player can make it to one of your servers, but not another, considering that they all have the same IP address, thus would get routed the same, barring any transient routing metrics telling a router to send traffic down a different pathway.

    The way I see this is that it is not a CPE issue, nor is it a Primus issue up to their demarc (border router/routers) with however they reach a Tier 1 provider (seems to be Cogent). Since they can reach your equipment via Cogent, it also doesn't seem to be a Cogent peering issue.

    My suggestion was for you to sit down and trace the traffic. Of particular importance is whether or not the client manages to authenticate. What all have you done?

    On a different subject.. for some reason wont let me start a new thread. On SS57 we cannot view WR or SR says invalid request then deletes the report. I have not seen anyone comment on this but as far as I can tell it is server wide. Do the developers know about this problem .. just started few hours ago. So as it stands cannot scout because you cant view the reports in turn we cannot attack. Defeats the purpose of the game.

    I too am from ss57 and our whole alliance is getting an invalid request message whenever we try to open any reports.
    and like blade above i too cant start my own thread about this. So if someone is reading this that can start a new thread do that for us so maybe we can get this situation out on the main page where someone from evony maybe able to get it fixed.. thanks guys

    Quoting myself so that I "re-ask" the question that I asked. From a technical standpoint, the idea that it is an individual ISP, when there have been multiple ISPs involved in this kind of situation in the past, seems highly unlikely. It is my belief that the problem exists within the network infrastructure of Evony or its' colocation provider.
