Thread: Sister alliance grows bigger than main alliance

Sister alliances are nearly always lame. Quite often it's players who are on a lot but too farmville to be in the main. Consequently they build pres and make the alliance look 'big' but are poor in a real fight. I haven't been in an alliance with a sister in many months, and won't.

It seems that a lot of long-term players have migrated to smaller 'elite' alliances where everyone keeps more or less the same pres (for res sharing).

its good to find another alliance to become your sister alliance, so as to have a basis for your alliance. you need to be very picky over who you let in. usually people in sister alliances strive to be big enough to get into main alliances, or at least thats what i did when i was in a sister alliance.
if everyone strives for exelence, then you will have amazing sister alliances.

Absolutely right. Unfortunately I think that theory very seldom works out to become a reality.

You all know the aggressive guy who never has enough troops to do anything more than spam or the one with the top hero who actually doesn't do anything other than develop that hero? Then there are those who always seem to be refuging or, when questioned about their activity claim to be 'rebuilding', even though they haven't been hit for 2 weeks. These are the guys that end up in sister alliances and for every one that makes it to the main on merit, there are 10 who either never will or never should.
