And frankly I'm not tempted at all to spend $500 to have 2 chances to go from 12 to 13 stars on rings when both will probably fail.
What I wish is that Evony didn't firstly flat out lie about the success percentage. We've all seen players get frustrated and use 4 flawless to get from 4 to 5 and find their 100% or 105% chance of success ended up in failure.
I had 8 falures in a row going from 0 to 1 while trying to recover going to 10 stars. With 1 delicate the odds of that, according to Evony's success stat, is .02%. Yep, in other words I should only have that happen once every 5000 times. Sadly streaks of 4 or 5 falures in a row are all too common. Given all my methods up to level 10 stars have 50% or GREATER odds of success you would think 4-5 successes in a row would be more common than 4-5 failures. It's not.
If Evony made the upgrades more difficult but didn't take you back to 0 (which makes no sense really) I'd be much happier. I have no problem spending 50 flawless and 100 delicates with 100k gold and 1 of each medal to go from level 10 to 11 if it's guaranteed. Sadly, Evony put as much thought into the stars as the effort they put into customer service.
