    I don't think anyone actually comes "to the Age2 portion of the forums to troll and whine..." .....i can only speak for myself with any level of authority. I click the tab that says New Posts. Then I go through and try to read everything new. Not always do I catch that it is from Age2.

    I don't think it is in the spirit of the game to do that. I think it is wrong.
    I am not a free player. I spend money, lots of it. Not as much as you but I have spent thousands of US dollars on this game. So my opinion is not coming from a "free" players perspective.

    The game should be competive for both free players and spending players. Free players should have the opportunity to progress in the game and build up if they spend the time. Paying players spend money to get there faster.

    Evony has placed a specific number of NPC/Barbarian cities on each server so that all players (free and spending) can complete quests, level heros, capture NPC's, farm for medals and gems, etc...
    If you systematically destroyed all the NPC's on the server then that would grieve other players. It would be the same as "destroying" all the valleys (Lakes, Hills, etc..). Barbarian/NPC cities are just as important to the game as valleys. There is a reason why they are there. And by "destroying" them you would be ruining the server and the gaming environment originally intended by Evony. So it goes against the spirit of the game. You should not do it.

    IF the player was smart he could just rebuild the npcs you port out and they would stay(since it was originally an npc flat) . All you are doing is giving him the npc of his choice.

    i dont see how thats breaking any rules i dont like the star idea. but if you will never get hte city as he so claims. why not just make it more of a hindrance if i were you i would be hitting it all day long so he has to use the texts. even if he account shares hes going to lose the will to play if hes flashing so much he thinks hes in front of a strobe light. just try to wind him as much as you can. even if thats spamming him for weeks. your alliance sounds pretty big they should be able to make sure hes getting hit all the time.

    no This is an Age 2 question. your point works in age 1 not age 2 the draw down of npcs is one of the interesting quarks of age 2 that does is not in age1 and with colonization it is an interesting but different mechanic.

    1: The way you do it is you port the npc away using a random porter then disband it over there.
    2: if he then starts city on that flat and abandons it that npc will disappear next maintenance.
    3: to get rid of all level 4+ npc's on a server would be hilarious but completely impractical.
    4: The main Point of this tactic is with people who have 12's or 14's and speech text all day long you take away all level 10 npcs in the distance of his 12 or 14 you dramatically reduce the effectiveness of that historic city

    If some one has 10-15 people in every time zone closing the gates and speech text there is little you can do aside from plunder with 50-100k transport waves wile the gates are closed.

    I want to address Japanpimps point:
    I posted it here cause i had the same feeling you did it took 3 pages of responses before some one else said what a jerk. this option of taking out all npc 10's or all npc 4+ is really a nuclear option for people who take speech text to a whole new level. if you cannot draft from that city if all your farming raids take 2 or 5 hours that historic city will go down in value the problem i had with it and why i posted it here is: I felt like Gee what a jerk. it is true that in military tactics people do have a scorched earth policy. and one of the complaints about age 2 is the npcs do die off.

    This is not true

    If you remake a new npc on a "perma npc flat" it will stay there. Its a good way for people with alot of teleporters to make good npc farms around their citys
