To whom it may concern:
I've been an Evony player since June 2009 and host of United almost as long. On May 1, 2011 my 24 million prestige account was accessed/hacked , all officers and higher were kicked from the alliance, a semi active member was given host and my account was reset. I immediately thought to contact Evony from the "contact us" that is provided for such issues to be submitted. I received an email advising me that my issue had been received. The following day I received another mail stating,
"Greetings,
Thank you for contacting Evony Customer Service. We understand your concerns and, if possible, we will try to restore your accounts within 10 business days. Please be advised that this is only an estimate and not a guarantee of restoration. We appreciate your patience and cooperation in solving this problem. We also recommend that you take a few moments to read these tips to help protect your privacy and ensure your security."
That was followed up with tips and suggestions on how to prevent this in the future.
As days passed and my worry grew, with no word of update on my account, I began attempting to have some form of communication with Evony. I tried replying to the second email I received, but to no avail. I didn't get a reply. I've sent 4 emails with my concerns to the address support@evony.com , 1 email and 1 message to Dawnseeker via the forum. It is now May 29, 2011 and I have yet to have any sort of response.
Now I don't presume to know the workings or the work load of the fine folks at Evony who provide us with a much loved pass time, but I do know one thing for sure. It is imperative that excellent customer service be provided in any business who has a desire to excel.
I may not be able to spend the large amounts of money as many of my fellow players, but my hard earned cash that I've had the luxury to purchase pixels in Evony, means a lot to me. In my humble opinion, it should mean just as much to you being the recipient of the afore mentioned hard earned income. For a loyal customer of almost 2 years who has not let a day or waking hour go by without Evony being logged into any computer I may have access to, whether it be at home or work, this experience has left me very disheartened and disappointed.
Lastly, i'd like to say that this isn't an attempt to bash or undermine Evony. This is my last ditch effort to have some form of closure. Whether it be in my favor or against, I'd like to know the fate of my account.
