No offense intended here, but for those of us who don't want to play Age II, Age II problems would not "rate as a major problem".
As I understand it, the ability to ignore an attack exists in Age II. Based on my experience as a developer for a U.S. Fortune 500 company that had multi-Billion USD yearly sales, it is likely that code is shared between Age I and Age II, as it is a core mechanic. It is likely just disabled for Age I. If that is the case, then instead of neglecting Age I, it would be my suggestion that the functionality be enabled for Age I, as the company has shown that they lack the drive to do anything about multi-accounting.
