An anti-proton (or a negatron) holds a negative charge. A proton holds a positive charge. Just because I'm 14 doesn't mean I'm an idiot.

I think the problem of the confusion is that both antiprotons and electrons share the name "negatron" yet the two aren't identical particles.

I think I can clear this up. An anti-matter version of a proton is called an anti-proton. A negatron was an early name for the electron, but it was abandoned.
