Haha. right on sister.
Now to answer the thread... There are many series which made me happy when they ended *cough*Lost*cough* but not many that I wished hadn't (I think the only series where I've watched every episode and I missed when it ended, was arrested development, as already mentioned).
Seriously, I thought it was okay, I didn't mind watching that at all, kinda liked it. Tho I think they couldve done a better job and it got pretty annoying at some times, I liked the subject and mysteries. bI was really bummed when they picked a date for the end.
And Oz, which got cancelled here, and i still have to watch all the eps, really liked that one. Not sure why, because I really hated Prison Break for some reason.
Too many shows, so less time.

They eventually admitted that they were writing it as they went. And JJ Abrams basically stopped having anything to do with the show after the 2nd or 3rd season. New writers kept showing up and pushing totally obscure plot lines and not bothering to tie up loose ends written before they were hired.
Then they tried to pass it all off by saying the show was about the characters, not the plot. And that as long as all the characters stories were wrapped up, the plot didn't matter. Nothing about the final season made sense, and were by far the worst episodes. For instance, the episode about Jacob's back story was literally the worst episode of all 6 seasons. The writers had promised us on the LOST forum that this episode would answer all our questions about Jacob, Smokey, how Locke turned into Smokey...all that crap. All the episode did was introduce yet another insane character that they forgot about the next week.
J.J Abrams has a habit of making great shows and then stepping back/getting pushed aside, Alias comes to mind as an example of this.
As for that episode with Smokey it was, for me personally, the most dissapointing episode of all time. But it did set the tone in a way for the 'homestretch' of Lost, in that all the lose ends that were supposed to be tied up were not, if anything they were made to be more confusing. The writers could have obviously done a better job of tying up lose ends before introducing new twists, but I guess what made Lost such a great show was the writing style so the writers felt no need to change what they were doing.
When I said I was glad Lost ended all I really meant was that I was glad they stopped it before they could make it worse :P.
After the first two seasons I thought that everything would fit together like a perfect puzzle in the following seasons, creating a wonderful masterpiece of viewing pleasure. But in the end, all we got was a hideous picture made out of many different pieces of many different puzzles. To some it was artistically beautiful, to me it look like splotchy paint on good canvas.
