    Chose the "Selective Startup"

    Click "Apply" then click "Ok"

    Now click "Restart Computer LATER"

Go to "My Computer" or "Computer"(Depending on if your using Vista/Win7) and RIGHT click then go to properties.

    Goto "Advanced System Settings"

Click "Settings" under Performance (First Option under Performance tab)

    Select "Adjust For Best Performance"

Scroll down to the very bottom and check the box for "Use visual styles on Windows and Buttons"

    Click "Apply" then click "Ok"

    Now restart your computer..

    WARNING!!!!

It is roughly the same method

Only difference is the start of the original method..

Instead of typing in "msconfig" into the "Start" menu area..

    Click Start

    Click "RUN"

    Type in "msconfig"

Follow the previous guide as normal.
