    Default Full Guide

Okay disclaimer to the haters/flamers. This is everything I know of Age I. Seeing I know longer play I want to pass on want I know to the players of Age I. While this guide may contain information that may be proven wrong, this is my personal experience and everything I know of Age I.
WHEN YOU ENTER GAME FIRST THING OPEN YOUR BEGGINERS PACKAGE! (Located in the My Items under the tab of "Chests")

Now when you start out I usually rolled my 5 cents they gave me along with my free amulets. (Sometimes that xtra roll is an awesome Mechs battalion for the Resources or a thousand cents for the titles.) So you build up until you have the Cottage to lvl 2, Rally spot 1. Barrack lvl 2. All Resource fields to 1, cept the sawmill which should be lvl 2, inn and feasting Hall(1), now your market place(By a saw tool is the Shop. This will allow you to get an xtra 10cents. Roll your cents now). Accept the quests as you complete them. Focus more quarry's then (Lumber Levy WOOD/Lumber as often as you can this is where you get the main portion of your lumber from for quite some time) upgrade your Townhall to lvl 2.
You should have done all your Hero quests and Adminstration quests while your market was building. Start building cottages. These supply you with population. The more population the more wood you can Levy.
So now you've got a good base set up, i'ma leave it to you and move into the later game.

By now you should have your city built pretty well by day two, right? Well if not just keep building until you get to this point:
    9 cottages (Atleast lvl 3-4)
    Forge lvl 3
Workshop 4 (No need to have it farther. Trebs are useless early.)
    13 Barracks(atleast have 3 lvl 4)
    Inn lvl 1
    Feasting Hall lvl 2
    Academy lvl 3-4
    Market lvl 1
    BT lvl 2
Embassy lvl 2 (So you can get your alliance achievements.)
    Upgrade walls as necessary
You'll have 2 extra empty spaces for your Relief Hut and Stable.
NOTE: I am not covering Resource Fields but upgrade them. YOU REALLY want to upgrade those.
Now the reason for those 3 lvl 4 Barracks. Make 100 archers for medal farming. As often as you can send a hero out to a lvl 1-2 valley to take medal farming down, take as many valleys as you can, once you get to the max of your townhall you can hit valleys and gain resources and the chance of a medal while doing this. Once you have the archers out of the barracks you want to upgrade one of those three to lvl 9 and two of them to lvl 6. (Get your tech's ready so you can make Ballista and Transporters)
The level 9 is necessary for Ballista making. Ballista's allow you to farm NPC's 1-5 without any losses. You need to get the correct Archery and Horseback riding Techs. I suggest getting Archery to lvl 7 and HBR to 5. This is the earliest tech combo as far as time goes that allows you to farm lvl 5's. Also allows you to focus on other technologies for some time, but dont skip archery upgrades for too long, you'll need them for later. Now that your farming lvl 5's I will move into the Alliance Mechanics.
NOTE: you probably wont be farming lvl 5 with ballista until the end of Week 2, BUT do your ballista in small incriminates. You can do lvl 1and up while waiting for your 500 Ballista and transporters to slowly be built.

Now while many will argue this is a waste of Guide space I totally disagree. You need to know how to act on a new server in a new alliance.
    ALLIANCE MECHANICS
I consider being able to act appropriate in a new alliance one of the most important starting aspects of the game. You don't want people to think your immature, rude or even boring. The main thing is to be nice, never tell inappropriate jokes or even laugh those jokes others may make. Laugh only when its a good clean enviroment and only show your face when someone may asks for resources or reinforcements (This will put you in peoples debts and make you appear very kind). Never ever disagree with a ranking official in your alliance about anything other then Evony related things (Combat mechanics, Troop making, Hero leveling etc) don't argue with them about politics or religion or ANYTHING unless its Evony Related.
Lets do a review of the Alliance Mechanics.
    1. Dont be immature
    2. Be nice!
    3. Don't tell inappropriate jokes (Yes this relates to #1)
    4. Offer resources so you appear kind.
    5. NEVER argue with a ranking offical in your alliance.
    TECHNOLOGIES
Not much to cover in these. Only one technology I recommend not to have lvl 10 and that is Compass. Having Compass lvl 10 can causesevere problems on lvl 10 NPC farming. Compass 10 will cause your archers to move within AT range to early and cause your losses to go from 4-6k to 16K+. Only time to upgrade Compass to lvl 10 is when your NPC10 Attacking Hero has an Attack Attribute of 200+.
NPC5 Farming Tech combo's for HBR and Archery:
    3. ATTACKING
Attacking low lvl NPC cities are mainly for resource and gold, this is done with ballistas to achieve 0 loses. The maximum level without loses is level 5, level 6 or more have trebuchets so you will always suffer losses there.
But there are ARCHER TOWERS... so you need specific tech level of archery and Horseback Riding (HBR).

Archery 08 / HBR 03 (Massive losses due to being in tower range)
Archery 08 / HBR 04 (Smalls losses from units but @ tower safe range)
    Archery 08 / HBR 05 (0 Losses )
    Archery 08 / HBR 06 (0 Losses )
    Archery 08 / HBR 07 ( Small losses )
Archery 08 / HBR 08 (Massive losses due to being in tower range)
Archery 08 / HBR 09 (Massive losses due to being in tower range.)

Archery 09 / HBR 01 (Small losses from units but @ tower safe range)
    Archery 09 / HBR 02 (0 Losses when using over 575 ballistas )
    Archery 09 / HBR 03 (0 Losses )
Archery 09 / HBR 05 (Small losses from units but @ tower safe range)
Archery 09 / HBR 06 (Small losses from units but @ tower safe range)
Archery 09 / HBR 07 (Small losses from units @ tower safe range)
    Archery 09 / HBR 08 (0 Losses )
    Archery 09 / HBR 09 (0 Losses )

    Archery 10 / HBR 00 (0 Losses )
    Archery 10 / HBR 05 (0 Losses )
    Archery 10 / HBR 06 (0 Losses )
    Archery 10 / HBR 07 (0 Losses )
    Archery 10 / HBR 08 (0 Losses )
    Archery 10 / HBR 09 (0 Losses )
    Archery 10 / HBR 10 (0 Losses )

(copied from syoganai1111 thanks) Much appreciated Syoganai1111.

So thats pretty much all that is needed for Technology covering.
Now i'm going to give you Combat Mechanics. There a few simple rules for combat mechanics.
    1. All units move forward.
    2. The only Exception to rule number one. Once Range units aquire something they can shoot they stop moving.
3 The Defender on an attack gets a 5% Range Add-on from the walls.
    4. Always be aware of what your enemy is doing. This includes scouting before attacking (Exceptions are few to this rule).
Examples of number one and 2 together
Say your in a valley and you have 500 Archers defending (Lvl 10vlley) and you have 100k warriors attacking. The starting range is 1800(Because the Archers have the longest range so they set the Starting Ranger) The Warriors slowly creep up while the archers fire in on them. The Archers never mover closer to the Warriors as this will cause them to get in range to attack the archers early then if the archers hadn't moved forward at all.

Now the 5% range Addon, this gives your abatis a range instead of 5000 to 5200, this bonus is what makes Defense one of the easiest things if you just have a few layers.
Now keeping in touch with what your hostiles are doing. Even if you can't hit them keep track of valleys. Get a scout every once in awhile. Try to get a good look on when they are online, do this by scout thier NPCs. Everyone hits there NPCS when they're online, unless they are botting.

Just a HELPFUL suggestion, might want ot spell check and/or explain everything about Evony that you know of; From reading what you have written it does not seem like you have written everything you know.

All in all it looks like a decent method. Though I would never use it, your wasting time with a lot of the unorganized build areas (I.e. You don't explain to people as if they were completely new, your assuming they've already knew how to play the game?)

Just a little advise is all hope it helps!

The guide seems decent. Good job My only issue is the alliance mechanics thing-
some alliances love silly jokes and just plain silliness. I appreciate them all but really some groups will end up thinking your boring if you don't joke with them. Some all-business alliances will think you quite crazy if you try to. I'd just say- get to know your group and be yourself. Find a group you like and that (hopefully) likes you.

Pres- 614k right now but growing to fast for me to keep track of. Not that it matters anyways.

this is an ok guide, but you need to organize info a little better. You also broke rule #1 of a guide, that is you didnt add in links for where you got your info from on forums.
