Salutations, my fellow gentlemen! I welcome you to this most illustrious establishment. On this fine day I wish to propose an idea which would in turn meet the fancy of all those who desire an intriguing and intellectually stimulating repartee. Howbeit, there are a few protocols which shall be followed whilst taking part in this (or shall I dare add our) colloquy.


First, vulgar and grotesque language must not be utilized in our indulgence of the English language. Instead, we shall prove our mastery of the tongues.

Second, the premier potable to be proffered at this most fine establishment is tea. Alcoholic poisons are to be reserved for sui generis happenings.

Third, do not take pleasure in the discord that the plebeians call "modern music." Such barbarity taints the mind.

Fourth, all posts must bring honor to this English tongue. Posts must be proper.


The first affair to be dealt with is the election of Board Trustees. Popular vote will decide nominations (all nominations must be accepted by the those nominated and the seconded by another gentlemen), and will then be voted upon. From those nominated, the three that received the majority of the opinions will join me, the Board Magistrate, on the Board of Trustees.

The Board of Trustees will rule on all decisions dealing with the lounge. These will range from member discipline to royal Lounge difficulties.
