That's a valid argument. Time is of value. In defense of those of us on other servers though, it wasn't very much time, if they roll it back to just before the extra packages went out. I happen to have a game on 152. Yes, I went ahead and opened the second pack, but I knew it was going to get removed once they found out. I think at most we're talking about 4-6 hours, possibly only 2-5 hours.
Evony continually shoots itself in the foot. As I've said, if the package doesn't go to all, it should be removed. The better way from a customer's perspective to have handled it though is to find out the maximum number of packages that went out, notate which servers got what, and then bring everyone up to the maximum, but that is where the company is stingy when it is something that is a fault on their side.
Someone in my alliance asked me if I had faith that they'd follow through on the compensation. What I told them was that I had faith that they'd try, but no faith that they'd succeed / get it right.
