    Can I just clarify,, in my previous post it could be construed that I was suggesting that there were cheats in the game and of course there are no cheats in this game,, and in any case were any to be found they would be banned.

    Kind of funny that when you all started doing this you guys swore up and down this wasn't what was happening, now its a given. Could we just get the straight-up honest truth from you guys from the get-go. Yeah, you all will get flack, but it happens and as a company you should learn to deal with it - it happens at all companies. And honestly, I think most of us are used to Evony disregarding everything we say anyway... so don't worry so much about it.

    That's a little revisionist history. We've kept everyone in the loop since this progress began many months ago.

    I still think there is a strong case for a black out of 5 miles around an active player for 5's and 10's 3 miles even but losing them 1 mile away, is a really bitter pill to swallow and its making the game even more stressful than it already is.

    I truly didn't want a better view of that swamp, I liked the big black building in the way, honestly I did.

    heres a plea for ya evony stop having servers go down. as much money as you all make you should be able to hire ppl who know what they are doing. between lag, server being down every other day, and my server being long long overdue for a merge, i am about done with this game.

    First time I've read this.

    So the players and what they might have the skill to do is what Evony is fighting against? Dave - you seem like a sane chap however we are your clients, your customers, revenue from our participation pays your wages. We are not an inconvenience aiming to frustrate Evony.

    For a change - why can't Evony listen and work with players? Wouldn't it be just pink and fluffy if the necessary clearances suited the game we actually play?

    Revisionist? Want me to search for the posts where you guaranteed NPCs around active players etc etc would not be touched?

    the more flats the more better lol what you talking about???? ss39 has been full for about a week and now 2day u can't port anywhere lol every state is full and everyone is bored

    i personally agree with why it is done, i myself tried to random port the evening before the sweep and couldnt even do that. i support it to cause, do think they might need to work on the desolate areas that get swept of like 50 npc atleast but again not gonna whine, for after all it isnt farmville and is a war game.

    My point here seems to have been missed entirely.
    I am completely for NPC sweeps, they are necessary.
    What I was asking Evony to look into is to sweep without clearing level 5, 8 and 10 NPC's within a 5 or even 3 mile radius of active players.
    This should be a simple enough thing to program and would reduce a lot of the stress and discontent caused by them when they happen.

    It is war game, but if you constantly loose half of your npcs with every swept round the same and your enemy not a single one, something is seriously wrong, because it is not at all even random, but it just tends to hit exactly the same areas.

    I am for swepts as well, but I do think the closest to the players should be left untouched and there should be more of randomity, as people may be fed up with swallowing it every time, while others just laugh and tell them they did not loose any again.
