    No... Self sufficient means that they area able to produce enough resources by themselves, this isn't an efficient way to do things though, so I send it to a different city - allowing me to keep producing at all times for more res...

    That is false. The base is 40-60. You just don't know what the base is until you water it. Like I said, if you think a hero can change base your understanding of a base is wrong.

    All cities should be self sufficient in terms of farming NPCs, building troops and defending. But for greatest theoretical efficiency no city should be able to produce everything it needs for troop production.

    I have my cities producing either all wood or all iron and I've noticed that the all iron cities have way less idle population. of course there's a way to bring the population to it's max in order to make troops though

    This guide was very helpful, as on serversi get really hard times in getting the medals!
