    Default Capturing Historical Heroes

So you want to capture a Historical Hero and you want to know the tips and tricks to successfully capture one? Well fear no more, this guide will give you the all the tricks you need to get that awesome Historical Hero on your side.

The most obvious way to capture a Historical Hero is to follow what the game tells you to do. You need to have a level 5 inn before you do anything else. Go to your inn and click Folk Hearsay to get information on random Historical Heroes. If the one you are searching for is not there, then you can search for the Historical Hero you want for 1000 gold. Information on his/her whereabouts will cost 10 game cents, so make sure that the historical hero is free for the taking before spending game cents. Usually if the the description does not say that he/she is in a Barbarian?s city, it means that another player has probably taken him/her.

One of the most effective way to search for a Historical Hero is to know who you want. A player-compiled list of known Historical Heroes can be obtained from the official forums. After you know who you are searching for, you then search for him in Hero Rankings in the Statistics tab. Usually this will tell you if the Hero is taken or not. If the Hero is taken, move on to the next best Hero. If the Hero is not taken (the name of the hero you want is not in the rankings), go to your level 5 inn and then spend 10 game cents to get the location of the Historical Hero. After you have the location, it is just a matter of attacking the location with you troops. If the location is far from you, you can always teleport nearer.

Usually a Historical Hero will be holed up in an NPC. Do not scout the location before attacking or the Historical Hero will change locations. Be sure to have enough troops to take on the NPC if you want to capture the Historical Hero. Usually it takes 40 to 60 attacks on the NPC before successfully capturing the Historical Hero.

A more challenging way to obtain Historical Heroes is to take them from other players. This is not as hard as it sounds if the server you are playing in is relatively new. A new server comes out nearly every month and it is a child?s play to start on a new server.

If you have the time you can always be in a position to out-maneuver your opponent into getting his Historical Hero. Firstly, concentrate all your resources in researching technologies relevant to combat. This includes Military Tradition, Military Science, Iron Working, Archery and Compass. After that build your troops to a respectable amount. Hire and fire normal heroes successively to get 5 or 6 Heroes with at least 60 base Attack.

Once you have all of the above, look for the Hero you want in the Statistics tab under Hero Rankings. Almost always, you will find the hero you are looking for. Only attack the player in question if his prestige is within 100k to 200k of your own. There is no point in attacking a player who is well above your capabilities.

Usually the player who is constantly hunting Historical Heroes will be short handed with regards to troops. The advantage you have over him is that you will not need to deal with troop respawns that he has to deal with when hunting Historical Heroes.

When you are ready, Colonize the player. This is because the Hero you want might not always be the one defending the town. After colonizing, you can sow discord to drop Hero loyalty and persuade him to your side.

This isn?t as hard as it seems since usually alliance members won?t always reinforce someone who is being attacked. If you can take advantage of the above, you can almost always get a Historical Hero without forking out any money and get some prestige and honor along the way.

The stats of the different heroes are fixed and not random, and the top attack heroes I’ve seen so far is Henry IV with a base attack of 99, Nadar Shah with base attack of 98 and Saladin, Hannibal and Genghis Kahn all with base attack of 97. I will try to get all stats for all of the heroes posted here as soon as I am able to gather the information, any help is appreciated.

not to be rude mate, but L2Google, there is a quite detailed list of all (at least most) HHs in game, with their base attributes etc. think it was one of the oldies, (satan or xawesomexx or somewhat who put it together)

the real guide to HH. Start new server. Paypal money to HH blackmarket hunters. Evony turns a blind eye and 'fixes' any other 'issue' rinse and repeat as necessary.

What a weak response. People need to learn the method to taking HHs and stop complaining about commercial HH hunters. You can beat them to the punch if you focus and get a quick start.
