Imagine if your bank was run by Evony!

Instead of instant access to what is yours 24 hours per day every day of every year you wouldn't be able to draw cash for an hour each day, you would stand a 50% chance of getting a statement, if you lost your card then you would be ignored for two weeks and if you want to pay some money into your account ..... hummm maybe THAT would work fine!

It's not rocket science, servers can run non stop for years.

Due to database structure and load, it could take some time to clear out inactive players and NPCs depending on how many there are. I don't know how evony has everything setup, but this is based from my experiences with running specific types of database queries. Could take some time, they could be double checking their work. We don't know. However, it's an assumption they are clearing them today on na34 as na35 came out yesterday. There's no confirmation from Evony found yet. I'll keep looking :P

wow, it looks like I missed a major disruption yesterday while being out for most of the day. These things are getting pretty frequent, they took ss59 down earlier this week for 3 hours, without any word of explanation - or likely the server felt down and noone bothered with at least some notice. Nothing on here and when you wrote to Customer Service, they just ignored it.

Same for ours , but they confirmed it were updates.
Tho yesterday all the lights went out for a while, i've heard they went out twice more after that on our server, but only for a short period of time.

My fingers are permantly crossed nowadays hoping it stays up when I am up to something..

A new study shows licking a frog can cure depression.
Down side is, soon as you stop, the frog get depressed again.

Lucky, nothing was said why ss59 went down for 3 hours while all other servers were up and running. It did upset a lot of players, especially not a single word as what went wrong and there was no formal acknowledgement of the problem either. Guess in their view nothing happened.

Explains why NA21 went down on Monday, but there has been reliability issues for a couple of weeks now
